Arrive anytime on day 1, and we will arrange your Airport Pick Up! The arrival airport is Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), or alternatively you could choose to land at Arusha Airport (ARK) if travelling from a closer point.

This is your time to meet your fellow travellers, settle in, get to know the team you will call family for the next few weeks and basque in the fact - you are in Africa!
7-day Lemosho programs start from a high-altitude drop-off: you’ll be transferred to the elevation of 3,500 m/ 11,500 f by an off-road vehicle and start the hike from there. This is meant to maximize acclimatization transition - the higher you start, the easier your adaptation will be.
Londorossi Gate to Forest Camp
Elevation (ft): 7,800ft to 9,500ft
Distance: 6 km
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
Habitat: Rain Forest
After breakfast we'll continue on the trail leading out of the forest and into a savannah of tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards. As we ascend through the lush rolling hills and cross several streams, we will reach the Shira Ridge before dropping gently down to Shira Camp. The view of Kibo from across the plateau is amazing.
Forest Camp to Shira Camp 1
Elevation (ft): 9,500ft to 11,500ft
Distance: 8 km
Hiking Time 5-6 hours
Habitat: Moorland
We explore the Shira plateau for a full day. It is a gentle walk east toward Kibo’s glaciered peak, across the plateau which leads to Shira 2 Camp on moorland meadows by a stream. Then we'll continue to Moir Hut, a little-used site on the base of Lent Hills. A variety of walks are available on Lent Hills making this an excellent acclimatization opportunity. Shira is one of the highest plateaus on earth.
Shira Camp 1 to Shira 2 to Moir Hut
Elevation (ft): 11,500ft to 13,800 ft
Distance: 14 km
Hiking Time: 5-7 hours
Habitat: Moorland
From the Shira Plateau, we'll continue to the east up a ridge, passing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As we continue, our direction changes to the South East towards the Lava Tower, called the “Shark’s Tooth. Shortly after the tower, we come to the second junction which brings us up to the Arrow Glacier at an altitude of 16,000ft. We'll now continue down to the Barranco Hut at an altitude of 13,000ft. Here we will rest, enjoy dinner, and our overnight stay. Although you end the day at the same elevation as when you started, this day is very important for acclimatization and will help your body prepare for summit day.
Moir Hut to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Elevation (ft): 13,800ft to 13,000ft
Distance: 7 km
Hiking Time: 4-6 hours
Habitat: Semi Desert
After breakfast, we'll leave Barranco and continue on a steep ridge passing the Barranco Wall, to the Karanga Valley Campsite. Then, we will leave Karanga and hit the junction which connects to the Mweka Trail. We'll continue up to the Barafu Hut. At this point, you have completed the South Circuit, which offers views of the summit from many different angles. Here we'll make camp, rest, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the summit day. The two peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo are to be seen from this position.
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Elevation (ft): 13,000ft to 15,000ft
Distance: 9km
Hiking Time: 8-10 hours
Habitat: Alpine Desert
Early morning, we'll continue our way to the summit between the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. You head in a northwesterly direction and ascend through heavy scree towards Stella Point on the crater rim. This is the most mentally and physically challenging portion of the trek.
At Stella Point 18,600 ft you will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see. From Stella Point, you may encounter snow all they way on your 1hour ascent to the summit.
Finally, after many days of pressing on, you will reach Uhuru Peak! Here, you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro! Congratulations, snap some photos and hug your team!
Then descent continuing straight down to the Mweka Hut Campsite, stopping at Barafu for lunch. You will want gaiters and trekking poles for the loose gravel going down. Later in the evening, enjoy your dinner and a well-earned sleep.
Elevation (ft): 15,300ft to 19,345ft (and down to 10,000ft)
Distance: 5 km ascent / 12 km descent
Hiking Time: 7-8 hours ascent / 4-6 hours descent
After breakfast, we'll continue the descent down to the Mweka Park Gate to receive your summit certificates. At lower elevations, it can be wet and muddy. Gaiters and trekking poles will help. Shorts and t-shirts will probably be plenty to wear keep rain gear and warmer clothing handy. From the gate, you'll continue with another hour to Mweka Village. A vehicle will meet you at Mweka village to drive you back to The White House in Arusha.
Mweka Camp to Moshi
Elevation ft: 10,000ft to 5,400ft
Distance: 10 km
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
Habitat: Rain Forest
After completing the incredible climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, today is all about rest, recovery, and celebrating your achievement. Your legs will be feeling the hike, so take the day at your own pace and enjoy everything Arusha has to offer.

We will depart The White House Hostel bright and early and begin the journey to the Serengeti National Park. During the drive, we will eat our lunch on the way to the park or just before entering. Once we have arrived to the park, we will continue will afternoon game-drive.
This Park covers an area of 14,763sq km, and the name Serengeti comes from Maasai language and means “endless plains”. The Serengeti is host to one of nature’s most magnificent phenomena, The Great Migration. Over a million wildebeests make a 600 mile pilgrimage on the annual exodus north.
Returning to the South to replenish the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the pilgrimage begins again. Depending on the season, our game-drive will take us to various parts of the Serengeti. After the game-drive and watching the beautiful sunset over the plains, we will continue to the Nyani Campsite, where you will overnight and enjoy your dinner.
Camping in the Serengeti is all about the experience - not the luxury. Enjoy your night with new friends, in one of the world's most incredible and remote destinations, surrounded by wildlife and stars that fill the night sky!
Enjoy another day of wildlife viewing from a second location deep in the Serengeti. Home to literally hundreds of thousands of hoofed animals, the Serengeti is a pristine and unique sanctuary that will give you a glimpse into “the world as it was in the beginning.” Relish the vastness of the Serengeti, “the land that flows on forever,” along with some of the best animal viewing that Africa has to offer.
In the afternoon, after another wonderful day will of extraordinary wildlife experiences we will continue our journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater, where we will overnight and enjoy dinner at Simba Campsite.
Tonight, we camp directly on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater at Simba Campsite. If you wade through some trees, you can get the epic view of Ngorongoro Crater which is one photos can never do justice. You may be lucky to even see Buffalo come through the camp - but be sure not to get too close!
Today, you will visit Ngorongoro Crater, the main feature of which is a large, unbroken, unfolded volcanic caldera.
The crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago, is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas. Game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater begin early in the morning in safari vehicles with pop-up roofs. The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty, as you make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffaloes. As you reach the inside of the crater, your guide will take you through the grassy crater floor, the unbelievable fever tree forest, the banks of Lake Magadi and the surrounding marshes.
Lunch is served picnic style, surrounded by the natural wonders around you as well as the exceptional wildlife, roaming freely, with which you share this extraordinary paradise.
After your picnic lunch, we will drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped at The White House.
In the evening, we come together for a traditional Tanzanian Nyama Choma (BBQ) night—grilled meats, good music, cold drinks, and the best vibes after your Kili summit. Games, Drinks & Vibes.
Once the BBQ wraps up, we’ll head out to experience Arusha’s famous nightlife! Expect lively music, great energy, and an unforgettable celebration of your trips success!

After several days on the move, today is a much-deserved rest day to be enjoyed in Zanzibar! The famous Paje Beach is only a 400-metre walk from your accommodation, perfect for a chilled day of sunbathing, beach walks, or simply taking in the energy of this vibrant coastline.

This morning we will head from Paje to Stone Town for a full day of adventure!

Lunch can be on your own time today as there are so many great spots to choose from! Bare in mind, the BBQ Party will kick off from about 3pm, so it may not be necessary! If not, there are several supermarkets within walking distance too.
Enjoy one last farewell breakfast, snap some last pictures together and say your goodbyes before heading back to Zanzibar International Airport for a very teary flight home... or stay on for an extended Zanzibar experience!
